The short version.
This policy covers the native iPhone, iPad, and Mac versions of Sudoku: Infinite Classic, and messages you send to Scriptiqs. The app is provided by Scriptiqs, s. r. o., the controller for personal information we handle in support correspondence.
You don’t need a Scriptiqs account to play. The app has no advertising or third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. Your games are saved on your device and may be synced through your iCloud account. Apple handles App Store purchases.
We do not operate a server that receives your puzzle entries or game saves. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include so we can help.
Your game data.
Sudoku stores your current puzzles, entered numbers, pencil notes, elapsed playing time, progress, settings, and purchase-unlock state on your device. This lets you resume a game, keep your preferences, and use features you have purchased.
When updating from an older version, the app may read existing saves on your device to preserve your progress and previous unlock. This conversion happens locally.
The app does not request your name, email address, contacts, location, microphone, or camera to play.
Apple services.
iCloud
When iCloud is available for the app, settings, progress, and saved games are sent to Apple’s iCloud service associated with your Apple Account to support syncing. This depends on your account, device settings, and connectivity. Scriptiqs does not receive a separate copy of those saves on its own servers.
Purchases
Apple processes payment for Unlimited Rounds. The app uses Apple’s StoreKit service to check the purchase entitlement and restore it. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide us with purchase, sales, and refund information through its developer services.
Diagnostics and reporting
Depending on your Apple privacy settings, Apple may make app diagnostics or aggregated usage information available to developers. These are Apple platform services, separate from an in-app analytics SDK.
Apple handles information under its own policies, including its retention and international-processing arrangements. Read Apple’s Privacy Policy and App Store & Privacy for details.
Messages you send us.
If you email info@scriptiqs.com, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments or device information you choose to share. Our email service processes correspondence to deliver and store it.
We use this information to respond, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a necessary record of the conversation. We do not use support messages to build advertising profiles or sell your personal information.
Where the GDPR applies, we handle correspondence based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and providing support; where necessary to fulfil a purchase-related obligation, we also rely on performance of a contract. Legal obligations may require us to retain some records.
The app does not ask children to submit personal information. If a child sends personal information to our support address, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its removal.
Retention & deletion.
Local game data remains in the app’s storage until it is replaced or removed. Removing the app may remove its local data, depending on your device and removal method. This does not necessarily delete iCloud copies, backups, or Apple’s purchase records.
Manage your iCloud account and backups using Apple’s device settings and support resources. Purchase records are managed by Apple. We cannot delete information from your Apple Account on your behalf.
We keep support correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the enquiry and retain a necessary support record, or to meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your correspondence; if we must retain part of it, we will explain why.
Your choices & rights.
You can manage iCloud and diagnostic-sharing preferences through Apple’s settings. The app has no Scriptiqs account to close, and playing does not require signing up to a mailing list or agreeing to advertising tracking.
Where applicable, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
To exercise these rights for information held by Scriptiqs, email us with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your request. For information held independently by Apple, contact Apple.
You can also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority. We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
